The company Giardino Tours from Peru has been accredited as a Travelife Partner. This accreditation is a recognition of their long-term efforts and leadership position in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Giardino Tours thus meets more than 100 criteria related to office management, product range, business partners and customer information and joins a growing number of travel agents and tour operators around the world, who are part of the program. Travelife for Tour Operators and Travel Agents (www.travelife.info).
In the midst of the global crisis affecting the tourism sector, the need for sustainable operations has become even more urgent as the public and the sector seek meaningful alternatives in returning to the “new normal”.
This accreditation will undoubtedly inspire other companies in Peru and Latin America to follow the same path.

Founded in 2007, the Travelife Sustainability System is an initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable practices within the travel and tourism industry.
Travelife Sustainability System for Tour Operators and Travel Agencies
Operated by ECEAT-Projects, this system provides online training and practical tools for sustainability planning, management and reporting. The training and tools are suitable for companies of any size and cover all management fields of the travel business including office operations, supply chain, destinations and consumers. Upon compliance with the Travelife standard for Tour operators and Travel agencies, the travel company can obtain the “Travelife Partner” or ‘Travelife Certified’ status.
