We pick up you from your hotel in Lima, and we head south along the Pan-American Highway toward the city of Chincha. This journey takes approximately 3 hours. Arrival at your hotel, free time to settle into your room, and then we get ready to begin our city tour.

We will visit the Hacienda San José, a Cultural Heritage site with more than 300 years of history. The stories hidden within its walls, corridors, gardens, and underground tunnels are endless. During a guided tour, we will explore the exhibition rooms, the catacombs, the punishment room, and the historic chapel.

Next, we will visit the district of El Carmen, known as the heart of Afro-Peruvian culture. This charming and lively town is famous for its strong Afro-descendant traditions. Its history tells how many Africans, especially from Angola, were brought to this area during the colonial period.

Our next stop will be at Bodega Viña Vieja (Old Vineyard), where we will take a tour of the winery. During the visit, we will learn about the history of Tabernero and the different processes used to produce its internationally recognized wines and piscos, ending with a tasting of the products.

At the end of the tour, we will return to the hotel.

Breakfast. 06:30 AM – Depart early from Chincha to Paracas along the Panamericana Sur. Enjoy the scenic desert and coastal landscapes along the way (2hrs drive).

We arrive to Paracas and drive direct to the harbor and join our tour to the Ballestas Islands by boat. See sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and a variety of seabirds in their natural habitat. The tour usually lasts about 2 hours.

01:30 PM – Private Tour of Paracas National Reserve.  Enjoy a private guided tour of the Paracas National Reserve, including: Red Beach (Playa Roja), famous for its striking red sand and beautiful coastal views. Visits to desert landscapes, cliffs, and wildlife observation points within the reserve. Opportunities for photography, short walks, and enjoying the scenery.

About 04:00 PM – You will drive to your hotel in Paracas.

Breakfast:  07:30 AM – Transfer from Paracas to Ica with a scenic route stop. On the route, visit also the Regional Museum of Ica (Close on Mondays), where you’ll discover archaeological treasures and learn about the region’s rich cultural heritage.

Continue with a visit to the artisanal Bodega “Tres generaciones”, where you’ll learn about traditional small-batch production and enjoy a tasting of handcrafted products.

Then, visit one of the region’s renowned wineries——depending on availability and week day (Tacama or Caravedo). Here, you can explore extensive vineyards, learn about the production of pisco and wine on an industrial scale, and experience a blend of tradition and modern techniques.

Arrive in Ica and enjoy lunch in a Traditional restaurant.

16:30 PM – Embark on an exciting UTV adventure through the dunes at Huacachina Oasis.

Enjoy a thrilling off-road ride over the towering desert dunes, followed by fun sandboarding and a personal toast at sunset —an unforgettable desert experience. (This experience lasts approximately 90 minutes).

Breakfast. 08:30 AM – Transfer to the city of Nazca with visits to the most remarkable Nazca Lines viewpoints, such as:

• Sun Dial (Reloj Solar): an ancient astronomical instrument used by the Nazca culture to track the movements of the sun.
• Llipata Viewpoint: offering panoramic views of the Nazca plains and some geoglyphs.
• Metal Observation Tower: providing different perspectives to observe and appreciate the famous geoglyphs from above.

The experience concludes with a visit to the Maria Reiche Museum, dedicated to the life and work of the German mathematician who studied and protected the Nazca Lines.

14:30 PM – Afternoon tour: Visit the Chauchilla Cemetery, an ancient pre-Inca burial site with well-preserved mummies and fascinating archaeological remains. After this visit, we will explore the Cantalloc Aqueducts, an impressive example of Nazca hydraulic engineering.

Evening: Transfer to the bus station (return to Lima or continue to the city of Arequipa).
